"Two Steps..." is a screendance short using improvised movement. The idea behind the video was to look at how differently the dancer moves in an inside space to how they move in an outside landscape. The video was filmed on the grounds of Bath Spa university.
We filmed a lot of footage and will be releasing a longer version of "Two Steps..." soon. So for now take a look at our 'trailer' version.
Dancer / Choreographer - Stacey Pepworth

The video itself came about from looking into the composition of movement and music and how they can be linked together even though they are not initially related. All movement was completely improvised and danced in complete silence - with only the natural rural soundscape for accompaniment.
Whilst filming we focused on using different angles and realised how exciting it is to just focus on one part of the body in the shot - Hence the film focusing on the feet a lot!
